pink pearls, pink popcorn, candyfloss, foxgloves in springtime, icing roses on a birthday cake, a newborn's fingernails, strawberry ice cream, fuzzy bedroom slippers. Stanislas de Quercize, president and CEO of Cartier in New York City, says the pink collection was conceived two years ago and introduced earlier this year just in time for Valentine's Day. "In the current environment, it's important to say I like you, I love you," he says. And nothing says it like pink.

it seems impossible, but just now as i was reading your list of pinks here at the twilight of thursday, i received a spontaneous phone call from a neighbor. she said look in the eastern sky and see what i see. i said okay and stuck my head out the back door and there, as if painted upward by someone witty, was the arc a fully hued rainbow with the rightward end disappearing into a small cloud of warmest pink. i'm speechless, yet the universe itself seems to be speaking. let the wheels turn, let the flags fly.

"Pink as pigs Pink as toes Pink as a rose Or a baby's nose." Margaret Wise Brown, "The Color Kittens". If Noah needs any more colors (or you want a lovely book to read aloud to Maria), I highly recommend this one. Peace and strength to Noah!

Pink things here are my favorite pink shirt, pink lemonade popsicles, pink post it notes, and hot pink highlighers, an adorable pink baby dress I bought when I though Baby Bear was going to be a girl, hot pink feathers from Stargurls BDay boa, pink socks from when MsMeow washed a red shirt with the whites, and my bunny tanline is pink on the inside.
