i never get to comment on the funny stuff since i cant comment about the size queen issues, let me just say that i wouldnt have discussed it in the first place- i woulda just let it be a fait accompli---then again that might be why my relationships havent lasted while yours have

You're probably right, Jeff. I should have just bought a new one and when he finally noticed I could have said 'What? That has been there for months'

Congratulations, JJ! Now just make sure you conserve electricity like crazy all over the house during the first month, so you can show him the electric bill and say "I told you so!"

I probably would have sided with Hawk in this arguement JJ. Even understanding the need and wisdom in the purchase of a large appliance, I must have some sort of phobia about spending that kind of money for something we already have, even if what we have isnt't working. Meow would have taken Jeff's advice and not discussed it with me, then I would have pouted about it when it arrived.

Straight guys pout? Who knew? We are laughing about the fight today. We sure can push each other's buttons.

Oh yeah, straight guys pout. My husband would probably call it "suffering in (dignified) silence," however.

When is his birthday? I'm an Aug. 14th Leo, myself. My students have heard me roar only a few times. Miguel heard me roar (and then SILEMCE) with the washer fiasco. As for the fridge, you needed a new one. :)

I bought a new energy efficient refrigerator a year ago and was amazed at how much lower my electric bills were starting the next month. Ray's gonna love it!
