i hate to be a downer, but people do die in oz--ask the Wicked Witches of the East AND West
my favorite songs about the moon are the ones my pups sing; sometimes i even join them!
listening to you talk about baseball is sooo hotttt!
ps---thanks for the autofellatio imagery of you---made my week, hun!

Damn, you are right Jeffie! The witches DO die. But I remember clearly in one of the books Princess Ozma tells Dorothy that no one in OZ ever dies. Just another example of the government lying to the people, I guess.

"moonlight becomes you..." and "Old Devil Moon" are favorites... But "Moondance" by VM is the all time bestest.
JJ, it was pretty cool about Roger Clemons ,huh? I love that you are a knitting jock who dreams of autofellatio. Sigh. You're Dreamy.
I'll say it again, I dig your journal muchly.xox, MQ

the gartan lullaby
sleep, my son, the red bee hums,
the silent twilights fall-
the lady from the grey rock comes
to wrap the world in thrall-
my darling boy, my pride, my joy
my love and hearts desire,
the cricket sings his lullaby
beside the dying fire-
dusk is drawn and the green mans thorn
is wrapped in wreaths of fog-
the fairies sail their boat till dawn
across the starry bog
my darling son, the pearl-white moon
has drained her cup of dew
and weeps to hear the sad, sweet song
I sing, my love, to you-
