Eagle feathers are still awarded when a member of the tribe has a remarkable achievement. Ray got his first when he graduated from Med School and the second for his service in Honduras after Hurricane Mitch Eagle feathers are so sacred that if one drops to the ground, all activity stops until the feather is restored to it's place of honor
