I first visited the Alamo a year or so after PeeWee's Big Adventure came out and I had a hard time taking any of it seriously, I mean the gift shop is the largest area in the complex! I did love those little busses in the square with the big sombreros on the top...

Patrick Wilson graduated from one of my alma maters, Carnegie Mellon University, and I got to see him a lot when he was still "in development." More power to the boy -- he's faboo.

me 2 durlee. n 88 i strolled the alamo and i watched the sweet little tour guide leading around moms and popz from kansas and ohio when the devil up and made me say "excuse me miss could u tell me where is the basement". she said "there is no basement at the alamo" without breaking her tourish cadence at all and i see now she was weary of that question. i bet she is married now and large marge is her mother-in-law.
