Its ALIVE! I woke up yesterday morning all prepared for my 14th day of feeling terrible. There was 6 inches of fresh snow blanketing my world and I was resigned to spending the day indoors with a little knitting, a little soup and cable teevee. Then I noticed something new and different. I could breathe through my nose! Goddess be praised! And my throat didnt hurt. And my ears didnt hurt. And I was hungry for something other than oatmeal and pudding. I wanted to play my Christmas music and go shopping. I wanted to mail my Christmas cards. I wanted to brave the snow and go to the local yarn shop for some baby pink Tecno Hair to knit my sister some wristlets. I wanted the Stuffed Chicken Burrito from Taco Bell with a large Code Red. I wanted to play in the snow with Maria. Hawk was shoveling the driveway and looking mighty fine and I wanted that too. Hawk, not shoveling. Ill never feel energetic enough to want to shovel snow. Its such a clich When You have Your Health, you have Everything because good health wont get you that cute Lexus SC-430 covertible, but gee its nice to be back with the living and ready to celebrate.
