A-mazing 20!!! Forget American Idol, the freakin Oakland A's won their 20th straight (or gaily forward) game in a row last night.
Children, this is an A-mazing thing and sets the American League record. What is even more A-mazing is that they are doing it with only a $40 million payroll, one of the lowest in MLB and with the defection of that big Stud, Giambi to the Yankee$$...who have never won 20 in a row with a payroll 4 times as big Yeah, I am impressed Of course a footnote to last night's big win for the A's is that they had My Royals down 11-0 at one point, with the whole world watching and MY boys chipped away at that impressive lead to tie the game in the 8th. A's ended up winning in extra innings 12-11, but the Royals showed the world that they have heart even if they don't have a winning record. God, I love baseball!
