A Girl Named Maria

People send me e-mails saying 'Yo, JJ, whatever happened to Maria? Do you still have her? You never mention her anymore'

Don't despair, Princess Maria is still in da house. She is fine and as delightful as ever. But because she isn't juggling 3 boyfriends or leaving soda pop cans on the computer or forgetting to come home at night, she doesn't get as much blog time as her more contrary siblings. With children, sometimes no news is good news.

So, I sat Maria down and asked her what she wants to tell you about her summer so far. She says:

Sponge Bob is funny

We go swimming at the club a lot and I took lessons

JJ and I make quesidillas for lunch

Alex (the cat) wants to go outside but Daddy won't let him because he gets lost

I can read (sorta, she starts kindergarten next month)

We saw stingrays at the zoo

When the ice cream man is outside, don't run in the street. Michael will give you money. JJ says 'No, it's time for dinner'
