Looks like another perfect day in the Heartland

Going to the Farmer's Market later today. Rumor has it that cantaloupe season has finally arrived. Hmmm, Hmmm good.

I love the Prairie Village Farmer's Market. It's like the Farmer's Market you would find just off the town square at Disneyland. We don't allow strange fishy smells or rotten vegetables in Prairie Village like at the big downtown Farmer's market. You won't find the Joads selling tomatoes out of the back of a broken down Ford pickup either.

You might see a family of Amish bakers. I love the Amish family, BTW. They let their child run all over the market on her light up in-line skates. The farmers looks like they stepped out of a Rockwell painting.

Have Mildred make you a cappuccino and get a croissant as you pick out fresh herbs. Listen to the string quartet

Notice how all the shoppers look like Martha Stewart. Notice how the prices are about double what you pay at the grocery store

Prairie Village! It's a good thing
